WOWYWW

Good morning and hello from a very grey and dismal Wiltshire.  It's Wednesday so it can only mean one thing WOYWW  if you don't know what I am on about have a look HERE.

My desk is looking a little different than usual today.  For a start it's clean and tidy!  The kit basket has been emptied ready for a new kit to be posted tomorrow.   I decided to get my sewing machine out. (Julia you will be pleased to hear I have fixed the tension)  I wanted a drawstring bag for my bedroom to put extra lady items in.   (I even used pins Julia!!)

Look my desk is really tidy!!!!

If you would like to see what's on everyone else's desk please pop on over to Julia to have a look.

  3. Hi Laura - nice to see another fan of the storage bucket! Love that fabric your extra lady items will now be discreetly but beautifully hidden away! Have a great week MMx #42

  4. Ooh that's a nice tidy desk. We keep debating a sewing machine but couldn't even thread the needle.

  5. Hi Laura
You make me feel guilty about not getting my machine out. Have to make a new peg bag, but not urgent because it is raining here in North Wales, so washing is not going out on the line today.
Very super looking machine, lots of special stitches you can use, I'm sure you have lots of fun with it.

  7. Been raining on and off all day here in North Wales too - but the garden is really appreciating it. Have had lovely gentle rain here, not like the poor folk who have suffered flash floods.
Loving seeing the sewing machine - but is that in the airing cupboard as well??
    Have a great week.

  8. Gosh, seeing posts like this make me wish I could sew! I can't even do a button without it being crooked. I love that you can whip up something you want for yourself and others! Maybe someday I can learn! Winnie#65

  10. Bit dull here too, but no rain today. After all that heat though it's quite welcome... Enjoy your sewing I would love to know how! Helen 6

  12. Yes, it's been dull in London too. I borrow my daughter's sewing machine usually, but I have to ask nicely! I am really, really impressed by your tidy work space! Julie Ann #12

  13. I love it.. sewing with pins...OMG however trivial, I have influenced you! I made a crochet hook roll last week (because I've got so much time on my hands) and spent longer than I wanted to fixing tensions again. Argh. Pretty fabric - mind, that's a given with you!
